GLIIFCA Travel and Poster Awards

In keeping with the GLIIFCA tradition of fostering and supporting new flow cytometry professionals, GLIIFCA makes several awards available to graduate students, post-docs and technicans to help defray the cost of attending the meeting.

Travel Stipends:

To qualify for a travel stipend ($100) you must submit an abstract, a statement of need signed by your laboratory director and bring a poster to the meeting. Not available to principal investigators, faculty or lab directors. One stipend per lab.

To apply for a travel award, please ask your PI to send an email to the Program Chair with your name, the title of your poster and a brief note stating your need.

Poster Awards:

A $150 award will be given to the presenting author of an outstanding poster. Selection will be from clinical and research posters submitted by technicians, graduate students and post-docs (or equivalent), as judged by the awards committee.
